The acclaimed play "Let's Speak Frankly" returns to the stages of the Instituto Cultural Paraguayo-Alemán - Goethe-Zentrum (ICPA-GZ) for a new season of performances. Under the direction of Juan Hannes Bürgin, the work proposes a deep reflection on human identity and the conflicts generated by social impositions.

The performances are scheduled for Saturdays, May 16 and 23, and June 6, 2026, always at 8:00 p.m., in the Salón Rolando Rasmussen of the ICPA-GZ, located at Juan de Salazar 310 near Artigas. Individual tickets cost G. 30,000, with a promotion of two tickets for G. 50,000.

The play, featuring performances by Yosué Ayala, Emilio Caballero, and Elvio Torres, with assistant direction by María del Mar Nash, explores how power structures and social conventions shape inauthentic versions of the human being. The narrative seeks to dismantle these prefabricated images, which act as control mechanisms and distance the individual from their most natural motivations, such as love and sex.

Juan Hannes Bürgin, the director of the work, has a solid background, having studied at the Conservatory of Buenos Aires and the Actors Studio in Los Angeles. He is the founder of the first theater school in Nuremberg and has extensive teaching experience in various European countries. Bürgin established his presence in the theater scene of Asunción after directing "Therapy, the Fantastic Exercise" and the German-language play "The Berlin Wall" the previous year. His work is characterized by the exploration of the human psyche and the breaking of cultural boundaries through the performing arts.
