Asuncion, Paraguay – Apostala, the official sponsor of Paraguay's national football team (Albirroja), has launched a new campaign titled “Creer o Creer” (Believe or Believe), aiming to transform the traditional coin toss into a message of unwavering faith in the team, according to an announcement covered by Ultima Hora.
The campaign draws inspiration from a unique feature of the Paraguayan flag – the only national flag in the world with two different coats of arms on each side. Apostala created a special coin for the campaign that, like the flag, bears the Albirroja emblem on both faces. No matter how the coin lands, it always shows Paraguay, reinforcing the idea that there is no room for doubt when it comes to supporting the national team.
Former Paraguayan international Salvador Cabañas, one of the most beloved figures in Paraguayan football, is the face of the campaign. His personal story of resilience and leadership is used to amplify the emotional message. In the campaign video, Cabañas is shown tossing the special coin, intercut with images of its creation and memories of the team's historic moments, struggles, and celebrations.
Lucas Cabrera, Marketing Manager at Apostala; Silvia Caballero, Marketing and Commercial Manager of the Paraguayan Football Association (APF); and Carlos Velásquez, General Manager of Apostala, were present at the launch event, as reported by Ultima Hora.
