Constructecnia 2026 Debuts at Conmebol Convention Center with 900 Brands and Free Admission

The 26th edition of Paraguay's largest construction fair begins Thursday in Luque, bringing together over 200 companies and 300 booths in a new venue set to boost the real estate and industrial sectors.

The 26th edition of Constructecnia, the International Fair of Equipment, Machinery and Materials for Construction, will be officially inaugurated on Thursday, May 21, at the Conmebol Convention Center in Luque. The event, which runs through Sunday (May 24), brings together 900 brands and more than 200 companies spread across 300 booths.

Admission is free on all days. On Thursday and Friday, visiting hours are from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.; on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The main novelty this year is the move to the new venue, which the organizing body — Grupo Paraguay Eventos & Emprendimientos — calls its “new home.” The relocation to Luque aims to offer an integrated experience, with optimized space for displaying everything from heavy machinery to sophisticated architectural finishes.

With nearly 700,000 visitors over 25 years, the fair positions itself as a business and knowledge ecosystem. The program includes trade exhibitions, technical training, and debates on current challenges in the construction industry.

Constructecnia 2026 has received declarations of interest from various public bodies: it was declared of National Interest by the Chamber of Deputies, of National Tourist Interest by the National Tourism Secretariat, and of Institutional Interest by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. In the academic sphere, it received recognition from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Art (FADA) of the National University of Asunción.
