Inter-School Equestrian Competition This Saturday at RC4 Acá Carayá

This Saturday, RC4 Acá Carayá hosts an inter-school equestrian competition with obstacles from 0.30 to 1.20 meters, while awaiting the next stage of the Official Ranking of the Paraguayan Equestrian Sports Federation.

While awaiting the next date of the Official Jumping Ranking of the Paraguayan Equestrian Sports Federation (Fedepa), an inter-school tournament will be held this Saturday at RC4 “Acá Carayá” in Asunción. The competition is aimed at female and male riders, who will jump obstacles from 0.30 to 1.20 meters.

The schedule begins at 9 a.m. in the military arena with the Mini School category, with obstacles at 0.30 meters and a time-ideal test. Next, the Open categories range from 0.60 to 0.80 meters, also time-ideal. Afterwards, prizes will be awarded in the 0.70/0.80 and 0.90/1.00 meter categories: in the first, the Mini Grand Prix in two special phases; in the second, the Grand Prix in progressive difficulty. Finally, athletes in the Open 1.20 category enter the arena, competing against the clock.

Registration for categories from 0.30 to 1.00 meters costs G. 100,000. For the Mini and Grand Prix, participants must pay G. 150,000 per pair (rider/horse). Contacts are with Freddy Báez at telephone 0981-583394. Payments can be made via alias CI 3781812, in the name of Leticia León.

So far, only one stage of the Official Ranking has been held, organized by the San Jorge Equestrian Club, also at Acá Carayá, on May 9 and 10.
