A new crime attributed to the so-called 'Grindr Gang' was reported in the San Rafael neighborhood of Ciudad del Este. According to authorities, the criminals allegedly stole approximately 60 million guaranis from the victim, who was unable to provide details about the assailants.
The group is known for using dating apps, such as Grindr, to lure victims and then commit robberies. This is another episode in a series of scams attributed to the same gang in the region.
The case is under investigation by the National Police and the Public Prosecutor's Office. So far, no suspects have been identified or arrested.
