The National Directorate of Intellectual Property (Dinapi) announced a webinar series to guide users on the Pya’e Porã pilot, an initiative that is part of the agency’s modernization process. The first virtual meeting is set for Thursday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with mandatory prior registration through official channels.
The sessions are aimed at frequent system users, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and the general public interested in protecting intangible assets. Technicians from Dinapi’s Trademark Directorate will lead the inaugural training, detailing the project’s operational workings, administrative advantages, and regulatory aspects.
Pya’e Porã seeks to automate and digitize registrations, cutting red tape for industry professionals and democratizing access for small entrepreneurs to trademark and other asset protection. The strategy aims to align Paraguay’s intellectual property services with international public management standards, strengthening business formalization and local market competitiveness.
