Paraguay will experience a cool Sunday with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, according to the Dirección de Meteorología e Hidrología (DMH). The precipitation is expected mainly over the Chaco and parts of the northern and eastern regions of the Oriental region, with gradual improvement later in the day.
Temperatures will range from a minimum of 13°C to 18°C and a maximum of 19°C to 22°C. Winds will blow from the south. A weather advisory issued at 5:00 a.m. warns of persistent storm cells over northeastern areas, specifically Amambay, northeastern Canindeyú, and central and eastern Alto Paraguay.
For Monday, scattered rains may continue over the far northeast, while the rest of the country will see a low chance of precipitation. South winds will persist, and temperatures are expected to drop to between 9°C and 14°C, with highs of 16°C to 19°C, leading to a cool to cold environment.
By Tuesday, rain probability will be low nationwide. Mornings will be cold, with minimum temperatures between 7°C and 13°C and maximums reaching 18°C to 20°C. South winds will continue.
