The feature film 'Renacer Albirrojo', directed by Armando Aquino and Alfredo Galeano, has landed in cinemas in Argentina, the United States and Spain. The documentary, already showing in Paraguay, reconstructs the evolution of the Paraguayan national team and the social impact of its qualification for the Football World Cup, through testimonies from players, fans and coaching staff.
In Argentina, the premiere took place on May 13, with the support of the Paraguayan embassy in Buenos Aires, led by Ambassador Helena Felip. The event coincided with the recent film co-production alliance between the National Institute of Audiovisual of Paraguay (INAP) and the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) of Argentina.
In the United States, the film was shown on May 17 at AMC Empire 25, near Times Square, in New York. On May 21, the production arrives at the historic Palacio de la Prensa cinema in Madrid, Spain. The initiative allows Paraguayans living abroad to relive the national team's campaign, with never-before-seen images and accounts that reflect the collective sentiment of the country.
