CREE's Fun Run in Encarnación Celebrates 60 Years with Sports and Family Integration

On June 14, 2026, the Regional Education Center “Gral. Patricio Escobar” (CREE) will host a fun run open to the community, featuring a 5 km course and a Kids category, along with recreational and food areas. The event aims to honor six decades of the institution and encourage healthy habits.

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the Regional Education Center “Gral. Patricio Escobar” (CREE) will hold a large fun run on June 14, 2026, in Encarnación. The event, open to the entire community, will gather from 7:30 a.m. in the Costanera Shopping area, with the official start of the main 5 km race at 8 a.m.

Organizers expect to bring together students, alumni, teachers, families, athletes, and running enthusiasts, turning the morning into a sporting and commemorative celebration. In addition to the main competition, there will be a 1 km Kids category for children aged 6 to 12, aimed at encouraging physical activity from an early age and strengthening family participation.

Participants will receive finisher medals, and the top finishers in the overall male and female classifications, as well as by categories, will be awarded. The program also includes a recreational and food area, designed so that runners and companions can enjoy a family-friendly environment after the race.

The fun run represents more than just a race: it is a tribute to the history, educational legacy, and social impact of CREE on several generations of Encarnación residents. Registration and further information will be announced soon through the institution's official social media channels.
