Despite the low temperatures recorded in recent days, the Director of Risk Management at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), Édgar Mayeregger, stated that there have been no frosts with significant impact on agricultural production. He warns that crops such as second-crop corn, second-crop soybeans, chia, sugarcane, and pastures remain vulnerable, and monitoring continues given the forecast of persistent cold.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) monitors the advance of a new cold front that could cause agrometeorological frosts in soybean and second-crop corn producing regions, especially in the south and southeast of the country. So far, no damage has been recorded, but temperatures near 3°C already pose a risk to sensitive crops.
