The Federation of Production, Industry and Commerce (Feprinco) withdrew its backing for José Emilio Argaña as the employer sector's representative on the Board of Directors of the Social Insurance Institute (IPS), citing lack of transparency and loss of representativeness. The entity's president, Enrique Duarte, stated that Argaña's continued presence is unsustainable and that the guild no longer feels represented.
