Paraguay's exports of copper waste and scrap totaled US$ 48.7 million between January and April 2026, a 136% jump compared to the same period last year, according to the Central Bank of Paraguay. The recycled material, sourced from cables, motors, and household appliances, is mainly destined for China, Malaysia, the United States, Singapore, and Vietnam.
