Prosecutors have ordered technical analyses of the nearly 22 kilos of gold confiscated in November at Silvio Pettirossi Airport, with support from Brazilian Federal Police geologists, to verify whether the metal was extracted from deposits in Paso Yobái, Guairá. Three people have been charged with smuggling and criminal association.
