Among the cases attributed to the gang is the attack on former senator Armando Espínola. A Venezuelan national and several Paraguayans were detained, and vehicles used in the crimes were seized.

Paraguayan ex-senator Erico Galeano, sentenced to 13 years in prison for money laundering and criminal association, slept Monday night in a cell at the National Police Judicial Department in Asunción while awaiting authorization to be transferred to the National Pretrial Detention Center (formerly Tacumbú) or another penitentiary. He shares the space with 135 other detainees and receives no special treatment.
The National Emergency Secretariat (SEN) reactivated the temporary shelter in the Tacumbú neighborhood of Asunción as part of Operation Jaho'i 2026. On the first night, four homeless men were taken in, receiving shelter, food, and basic care. SEN asks the public to report cases of vulnerability by calling 911 or (0986) 111 001.
