Associations of retirees from the Social Security Institute (IPS) asked President Santiago Peña to replace advisor José Jara Rojas, whom they accuse of not representing the interests of policyholders. At a press conference, union leaders expressed support for IPS President Isaías Fretes and demanded a concrete sign of backing from the executive branch for his management.
