The Areguá Strawberry Expo will have its official opening this Friday, starting at 10:00 AM. The event will feature a formal ceremony, including the cutting of the tricolor ribbon, and an artistic festival.

The Director of Culture for the Areguá Municipality, Norma Hidalgo, invited the public to attend the opening and then visit the various sales points. "It is an honor for us to invite the public. There will be an artistic festival, a small ceremony where representatives of the exhibition will also speak," Hidalgo stated.

The fair, which has been underway since July 5th, brings together more than 80 producer families. The main sales area is located on Mariscal Estigarribia road and La Candelaria street, considered the central point of the event.

Visitors can find fresh strawberries, jams, liqueurs, cakes, desserts, ice creams, juices, and other handmade delicacies. Most stalls are open every day from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Rossan Galeano, the representative of the exhibitors, highlighted that the Strawberry Expo was declared of National Interest by Paraguay's Congress. Declaration No. 500 recognizes the fair's contribution to the gastronomic, productive, and cultural development of the Central Department and Paraguay.
