The Paraguayan Federation of Timber Producers (Fepama) has officially announced the sixth edition of Expo Madera Paraguay, to be held from September 10 to 12, 2026, at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP) in Asunción. The event's motto is “Expanding Forests, Industries with Value” and it aims to position Paraguay as a central player in South America's forestry-industrial development, integrating production, logistics, innovation, and industry.

Currently, Paraguay has over 380,000 hectares of forest plantations dedicated to productive and industrial development, placing it among the emerging markets with the greatest expansion potential in the region. The forestry sector has consolidated as a driver of formal employment and territorial development through industries linked to civil construction, architecture, engineering, industrial design, and the manufacture of wood-derived products.

Expo Madera 2026 will also address sustainability and responsible management of forest resources, aligning with international requirements that promote efficient land use and climate change mitigation. The gathering will serve as a space for connection among companies, investors, producers, and suppliers in the sector.
