Relatives of a man who died at the Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS) have reported alleged medical negligence. According to the daughter's account, the patient arrived minutes before the scheduled time for a procedure but did not receive the necessary assistance.

The family claims to have purchased supplies such as cotton, soap, and disinfectants, as requested by the health unit, but even so, care was not provided in time. The death occurred shortly after.

The case was registered at the local police station and awaits investigation. The IPS has not yet officially commented on the report.
