The Lambaré Prosecutor's Office concluded that there are no elements confirming the complaint of sexual abuse against the 7-year-old boy killed by his own mother, who later took her own life. The case, which occurred in a boarding house in the city, generated shock and doubts about the veracity of the accusations made by the woman before the crime.
According to prosecutor Amelia Bernal, the complaint was filed on December 9, 2024, but the forensic medical examination performed on the minor found no physical injuries or signs of violence. In an interview with a psychologist, the boy was hesitant and unable to report concrete facts, while the mother presented contradictions in her statements.
The 26-year-old woman had posted messages on social media accusing the boy's biological father of abuse and claiming she had not received responses from the authorities. However, the investigation was unable to substantiate the allegation. Prosecutor Bernal highlighted that, after a previous episode in which the woman tried to throw herself and her son in front of a vehicle and later threatened to jump from a roof, Codeni intervened and temporarily handed the minor over to relatives. New interviews were scheduled, but the family did not attend.
The owner of the boarding house where the tragedy occurred stated that the mother appeared to have mental health problems and had been admitted to a psychiatric center. The Prosecutor's Office, for its part, reiterated that, despite the seriousness of the accusations, insufficient elements were obtained to confirm the sexual abuse.
