Man dies run over while picking tangerines in San Lorenzo

Michael Ariel Florentín Saucedo, 33, got out of his vehicle to pick tangerines in the Villa del Agrónomo neighborhood of San Lorenzo and was run over by a car. The driver, Bryan Giovanni Barboza Barrios, 20, tested negative for alcohol and was detained by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

A tragic traffic accident occurred in the city of San Lorenzo, where a man lost his life after being run over while trying to pick tangerines by the roadside. The victim was identified as Michael Ariel Florentín Saucedo, 33, who had gotten out of his vehicle when he was violently struck.

The incident took place at the intersection of Nicanor Ríos and Manuel Fernández Pérez streets, in the Villa del Agrónomo neighborhood. According to preliminary information, Florentín Saucedo was outside his car, collecting fruit on the sidewalk, when he was hit by a car driven by Bryan Giovanni Barboza Barrios, 20.

Traffic officers administered a breathalyzer test to Barboza Barrios, which came back negative. By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the young man remains detained while investigations continue to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
