The Minister of Urbanism, Housing and Habitat, Juan Carlos Baruja, received delegations from districts of Itapúa to advance initiatives aimed at reducing the housing deficit and providing decent homes to communities in the region.

The Minister of Urbanism, Housing and Habitat, Juan Carlos Baruja, met with representatives from several districts of the department of Itapúa to promote new housing projects for families in the region. The talks took place as part of the ministry's work agenda and focused on advancing housing solutions for communities seeking access to a decent home, in coordination with local authorities and relevant sectors.

The ministry stated that these efforts are part of the national government's policy, led by President Santiago Peña and Vice President Pedro Alliana, which prioritizes reducing the housing deficit and improving the quality of life for Paraguayan families. “We continue to promote concrete actions so that more Paraguayan families can access a decent home,” ministry sources highlighted, emphasizing the importance of joint work with communities to implement new projects in the interior of the country.

Authorities also indicated that the goal is to accelerate the necessary processes so that the initiatives become construction projects that directly benefit residents in different parts of Itapúa.
