Fiscal agents and security personnel seized 760 kilograms of marijuana during an operation carried out in the city of Mayor Otaño, in the Itapúa department. The drug was being transported in a vehicle, which was located and intercepted by the authorities.
The procedure was coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office and had the support of police forces. The illicit cargo was confiscated and the case remains under investigation.
