A tragedy shook the city of Lambaré this Sunday (17), when a woman killed her son and then committed suicide, according to preliminary police information.
According to family accounts, the boy's father allegedly sexually abused the child when he was 3 years old. The situation had previously been reported to the authorities, but there is no independent confirmation regarding the progress of investigations or protective measures.
The case is under the responsibility of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Criminalistics team, who are conducting forensic examinations at the scene.
