Carlo Borghetti releases “Muevete,” second solo single inspired by his daughter

Paraguayan musician Carlo Borghetti, formerly of Paiko and Göbekli Tépe, presents “Muevete,” his second solo single. The pop-rock track, now available on digital platforms, was born from the duality of his 15-year-old daughter Giulia, between her calm demeanor at home and her energy on the dance floor.

Carlo Borghetti has released “Muevete,” his second single as a solo artist. The song, a fusion of pop and rock, is now available on digital platforms and previews his debut album.

The track is dedicated to his 15-year-old daughter Giulia. “I wrote this song while watching her,” Borghetti said. The artist describes the teenager as calm, gentle, and serene at home, but with a completely different energy when she dances. That duality inspired the single’s central concept: “Move fast or move slow, but don’t stop moving,” a phrase that becomes a message about life, growth, and opening up to the world.

“Muevete” follows “Canción de Lina,” Borghetti’s first solo single. The composition is the result of a collaboration between Carlo, Gonzalo Núñez Rey, José Recalde, and Mike Cardozo, with production by the same team and Willy Suchar.

On the recording, Borghetti handles lead vocals, electro-acoustic guitars, bass, and additional vocals. Gabriel Colmán plays electric guitar, Willy Suchar contributes pianos, keyboards, and programming, and Walter Rodríguez plays drums, recorded at Rock House Estudios by Ricky Velázquez. Mixing and mastering were done by RZMIX.

Known for his work with the bands Paiko and Göbekli Tépe, Borghetti is simultaneously developing his own style in his more personal facet as an artist.
