A violent robbery occurred in the area of the Aquino Cué settlement, in the Department of Concepción, where a woman was intercepted by two men while transporting a significant amount of money. According to initial reports, the victim was leaving the locality of Panchito López, near the asphalt plant of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), when the criminals blocked her path.
The aggressors broke the car window to immobilize the driver and forced her to drive to a more isolated region. There, they robbed her of approximately Gs. 100 million. After the robbery, the delinquents abandoned the car on a dirt road that connects the Aquino Cué roundabout, on route PY05, with route PY22, towards Estancia Ybú, and fled in an unknown direction.
The case was reported to the police, who have already begun investigations to identify those responsible. So far, there is no information about the recovery of the money or the arrest of the suspects.
