Asunción Offers Free Weekly Program for Seniors with Dance, Singing, and Tai Chi

The Unit for Older Adults of the Municipality of Asunción has released a calendar of free activities for the elderly, including traditional dances, singing, Latin rhythms, physical exercise, and tai chi, held at the CAMA Hall.

The Unit for Older Adults of the Municipality of Asunción announced, this weekend, a series of free activities aimed at the elderly. Classes take place from Monday to Saturday at the CAMA Hall, located on the 2nd floor of Block C of the municipal headquarters.

On Monday and Tuesday mornings, an instructor teaches classes in traditional Paraguayan dances and ballet. Wednesdays are dedicated to singing, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Thursdays offer folk dance, Latin rhythms, and physical activity specific to seniors, with activities from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

On Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, there is a workshop on Argentine dances, including tango, chamamé, and chacarera, followed by physical activity in the afternoon. On Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, there are tai chi classes.
