Air Operation Transports Elderly Woman with Varicorrhagia from Chaco to Specialized Care

A 65-year-old woman was transferred by helicopter of the Paraguayan Air Force from Cadete Pando to Villa Hayes after presenting varicorrhagia. The mission was coordinated with the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare.

A 65-year-old woman was successfully transported through an aeromedical operation in the Paraguayan Chaco. The patient, who presented a case of varicorrhagia, required specialized assistance due to the diagnosis, which prompted the deployment of the aircraft to ensure her access to a higher-complexity medical center.

The transfer was carried out aboard a helicopter of the Paraguayan Air Force. The aircraft took the patient from the locality of Cadete Pando to the city of Villa Hayes, a crucial route so that she could enter a care center with infrastructure and professionals suitable for her treatment.

The mission was executed under strict coordination between military authorities and the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare. Throughout the entire air journey, the necessary safety and care conditions were guaranteed, ensuring the well-being and integrity of the patient until her arrival.
