The access to the Bioceanic Bridge Carmelo Peralta, which will connect Paraguay to Brazil, is under full execution. The works, carried out by the Consorcio Vial de Integración — formed by Tecnoedil S.A. Constructora and TL S.A. —, include asphalt paving of 3.8 kilometers from the bridge to Route PY15, as well as storm drainage, dredging, and right-of-way clearance.

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) monitors the actions with a socio-environmental and safety team, responsible for overseeing compliance with current regulations and mitigating impacts on the local community. The project also includes improvements to the main avenue of Carmelo Peralta, interventions on the Costanera, and the construction of two embarkation ports.

The total investment exceeds G. 125,900 million, financed by Itaipú Binacional, and the execution period is 12 months. Supervision will be carried out by Consultora Guaraní S.A.

The initiative aims to improve road connectivity, organize urban traffic, and promote more sustainable mobility in the Chaco region, integrating Carmelo Peralta with Porto Murtinho, in Mato Grosso do Sul.
