Faced with the drop in temperatures recorded in recent days, the Colorada Section No. 165 of Encarnación has resumed its traditional solidarity clothing drive, aiming to support families and people in vulnerable situations.

Maricel Godoy, a representative of the initiative, highlighted the importance of community action, part of the social activities promoted by the section. “We have brought out the solidarity clothing drive again because many people are always donating clothes, shoes, and warm garments. We take this opportunity to invite citizens to collaborate,” she stated.

Donations can be delivered at any time of day, in the main hall of the section, where the structure to receive donations is set up. Godoy explained that the items are periodically sorted and made available to those in need. “People can come during business hours to pick up warm clothes, garments, or footwear. We do not ask for identification nor make distinctions. We always give to whoever needs it,” she said.

Godoy emphasized that, although it is the home of the Colorado party, the main goal is to offer solidarity support to the entire community, regardless of origin or political affiliation. She invited the public to continue contributing winter items and other donations, considering the low temperatures forecast for the coming days.
