Paraguay's National Directorate of Public Procurement (DNCP) concluded there is no evidence that Alejandro Domínguez Pérez, son of the Conmebol president, directly participated in the bidding process or execution of the diesel supply contract between Petropar and Doha Holding Group LLC. The agency opened administrative summary proceedings against seven individuals linked to the company but excluded Domínguez Pérez due to lack of proof of effective exercise of management or representation functions.

Paraguay's Public Procurement Agency Launches Investigation into Qatari Firm Over Failed Multi-Million Dollar Contract

Paraguay's National Directorate of Public Procurement (DNCP) has initiated an administrative inquiry into the Qatari firm Doha Holding Group LLC and several of its representatives following the rescission of a multi-million dollar gasoil supply contract with Petróleos Paraguayos (Petropar). The firm failed to deliver any fuel despite multiple extensions, leading Petropar to terminate the agreement and execute a performance bond.
