Tere Franco Celebrates Mother’s Day Surrounded by Her Four ‘Treasures’

Paraguayan television host Tere Franco, known for her work on Cardinal Romance and the program Vitaminas, marked Mother’s Day on May 15, 2026, with a family gathering. In an interview with ABC Color, she described motherhood as “the greatest miracle and gift” from the Creator and shared her joy in spending time with her children Marilyn, Andrés, Mateo, and Darián.

Paraguayan television host Tere Franco, a familiar face on Cardinal Romance and the program Vitaminas, celebrated Mother’s Day on May 15, 2026, surrounded by her four children: Marilyn, Andrés, Mateo, and Darián. In an interview with ABC Color, Franco described herself as a “superprotective mom” who tries to give her children space while remaining attentive and helpful.

“I’m affectionate, I need to hug and kiss them, at least from time to time. I’ve also been demanding in certain things. Sometimes even scolding! And since the four of them are already grown up, I try to teach them the values my parents gave me,” Franco told ABC Color.

Franco, who joined Cardinal Romance with her show Vitaminas earlier this year, emphasized that none of her children have followed her into the media. “They dedicate themselves to completely different things. Although we share a taste for and devotion to music,” she said.

When asked what it means to be a mother, Franco replied: “Being a mom for me is the miracle and the greatest gift that the Creator gave me. I feel very grateful!” She added that she would “want to be the mom of my four loves again” if she were reborn.

The family planned to celebrate the day with a traditional Paraguayan barbecue, guitar music, and dancing late into the night. “Everything. Getting together to make an asado, a peña, listen to music, dance, go out to eat, travel. Anything with them makes me feel completely full!” Franco said.
