The unforgettable sisters Carola (Lali González) and Esther (Aldo Calabrese) are back at the theater bar with the third work in the Verídicas series, after a ten-year wait. The new production transports the audience to the characters' adolescence in the 1990s, a time of dreams and romantic desires, and then jumps to the present, when the two, now in their 40s, single and full of doubts, receive two unexpected pieces of news that trigger a series of absurd and hilarious hypotheses.

With humor, nostalgia, and over-the-top situations, the play invites the audience to participate in a game of guesses and laughter. Performances take place on May 26 and 27 and June 2, 3, and 4 at 9 p.m. at Rock 66 (Cruz del Defensor corner Alberto de Souza). Tickets are limited and reservations can be made by phone at 0982-398888.

Meanwhile, Expylab — Paraguay's Immersive Experiences Laboratory — has opened applications for its sixth edition, which runs from August 17 to 29 at the French Alliance of Asunción. Artists and technologists from Paraguay and Ibero-American countries can apply for free scholarships until May 31. The laboratory offers intensive training in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, artificial intelligence, interactive design, and animation, with mentoring and pitch sessions. Selected participants exhibit their projects during Expyfest, Asunción's immersive experiences festival.

Expylab has already awarded more than 90 scholarships, 20 residencies, and international internships, reaching over 4,500 people. The scholarships cover tuition, transportation, and accommodation for participants from the interior of Paraguay and, with support from the Ibermedia Program, up to eight scholarships for artists from member countries, including airfare. At the end, there are prizes such as a residency at Future Campus Ruhr (Germany) and a paid internship at Realidad 360° Argentina.
