Violent robbery of a store in Concepción: three hooded men take money and cell phones

Three armed men with their faces covered invaded the Ña Rumi store in the Kuruzu de Hierro community, Concepción, taking money and five cell phones. The police are investigating the case.

Three armed men with their faces covered invaded the Ña Rumi store in the Kuruzu de Hierro community, Concepción Department, on the night of Wednesday (16), around 9:30 p.m. The criminals took an as yet uncalculated amount of money and five cell phones, including devices of the Samsung and Poco brands.

According to the report from the 21st Police Station of Kuruzu de Hierro, the suspects arrived in a silver Toyota Corsa car, dressed in clothes similar to those of construction workers and wearing balaclavas. Two of them carried alleged 9 mm caliber pistols, while the third wielded a long gun.

The victims, Alcides Ramón Barreto, 47, and his partner Nidia Rumilda López, owners of the establishment, were threatened by the assailants, who announced the robbery and then fled to an unknown destination.

Agents from the Tactical Unit and the Department of Investigations responded to the incident. The case was reported to the duty prosecutor, Claudia María Huespe, who is leading the investigations to identify and locate those responsible.
