A 16-year-old teenager died on Sunday (18) after losing control of his motorcycle and falling on Route PY02, at kilometer 234, in the city of Dr. Juan Eulogio Estigarribia, known as former Campo 9, in the department of Caaguazú. The accident occurred around 3:20 p.m.
According to preliminary information, the young man was allegedly participating in an illegal race at the time of the incident. The exact causes of the accident are still under investigation.
Teams from Criminalistics, the forensic doctor, and representatives of the Public Prosecutor's Office were at the scene to carry out the body removal and the necessary expert procedures to clarify the circumstances of the event.
