In the opening of the eighth round of the 2026 Women's Annual Tournament, Sportivo Luqueño and Rubio Ñu drew 1-1 at the CARDIF 1 Stadium in Luque. The result keeps both teams at the bottom of the table, but Rubio Ñu earned its first point in the championship, ending a streak of six consecutive defeats.
