A farewell from Pytagua

Pytagua is ending publication. Our existing articles will remain available as an archive.

Dear readers,

Pytagua began with a simple ambition: to make news and information from Paraguay easier to understand across languages.

We have decided to end publication.

Producing a multilingual publication to the standard we believe readers deserve requires substantial editorial, technical, and ongoing maintenance work. With the resources available to us, we can no longer sustain that work with the consistency and care we consider necessary.

Rather than lower those standards, we have decided to bring regular publication to an end.

Pytagua's existing articles will remain available as an archive. They reflect the work produced during the life of the project, but they will no longer be routinely updated.

Thank you for reading, sharing our stories, and taking an interest in Paraguay. We are grateful for the time and trust you gave us.

With gratitude,

Pytagua
