The Feria Empresarial del Paraguay (FEPY) has launched its decentralization strategy focusing on the department of Alto Paraná. To expand the participation of companies from the region in the 2026 International Business Round, the organization will hold a free preparatory webinar this Friday, May 22, at 4:00 p.m., aimed at local businesspeople and entrepreneurs. The goal is to train them in using the scheduling platform and maximize connections with international buyers, suppliers, and strategic partners.

With the event scheduled to take place in person from June 3 to 5 at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee in Asunción, registrations already reflect a strongly international profile: 55.46% of registrations are from foreign companies, compared to 44.54% from Paraguayan ones. So far, delegations from 19 international markets have been confirmed, in addition to Paraguay as host, totaling 20 countries.

The regional bloc is led by Brazil and Argentina, with participation from corporations from the United States, China, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Chile, Colombia, Australia, Slovenia, Macedonia, and other countries from four continents.

Organized by the Paraguayan Industrial Union (UIP) in alliance with the Investment and Export Network (Rediex) of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FEPY seeks to surpass the results of the last edition. On that occasion, the platform brought together more than 450 companies from 17 countries, generated more than 3,400 executive meetings, and resulted in US$ 260 million in business intentions. The expectation is that the inclusion of industries from the east of the country will help beat that mark.
