The Paraguayan-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Paraguay) is organizing two events to connect German companies with business opportunities in Paraguay, focusing on the water treatment sector and the forestry and pulp industry.
Christian Schauer, Executive Director of AHK Paraguay, confirmed that a delegation of executives from German companies is scheduled to arrive in the country in the last week of November for an event dedicated to water resource management. The theme covers everything from the supply of clean, potable water to the management of wastewater and stormwater, including treatment infrastructure.
According to Schauer, the project is part of the German government's programs to promote the entry of products and companies into new markets and to strengthen bilateral trade relations. Between eight and ten companies, primarily small and medium-sized enterprises, are expected to participate in the mission, which will also include the presence of public institutions and local stakeholders.
Simultaneously, a virtual event on the forestry and pulp industry is planned for the end of September in Germany. Schauer highlighted that Paraguay holds an advantageous position in this sector, and the event will focus on the sustainable utilization of pulp, whether through forestry cultivation or recycling. Paraguayan experts will give presentations to the German business leaders.
