Man's body found with no visible injuries on roadside in San Antonio

A man's body was found Wednesday afternoon in a ditch along a road in San Antonio, Central Department. The victim showed no apparent injuries, and the coroner did not rule out sudden death.

A man's body was found around 5 p.m. in a ditch in the city of San Antonio, Central Department, near the Guazú stream. Officers from the 24th Precinct were called to the scene.

The coroner who examined the site could not immediately determine the cause of death. The body was sent for a full autopsy, and the possibility of sudden death was not ruled out.

Patricia Coronel, a volunteer firefighter who took part in the recovery, said the man had no visible injuries and was well dressed. "The gentleman was well dressed, it looked like he was going to or coming from work. He did not appear to be homeless," she stated.
