Paraguayan lawyer Ricardo Sasciain launched the 'Dr. IA' application, an artificial intelligence platform developed specifically for legal consultations within Paraguay's legal framework.
The tool has loaded approximately 95% of national legislation, including the National Constitution, Civil and Penal Codes, as well as international treaties. The application allows interaction by text or voice and is capable of performing complex tasks, such as drafting contracts, calculating labor compensation, guiding eviction processes, or interpreting judicial resolutions.
Sasciain explained that the artificial intelligence does not intend to replace human lawyers, who remain indispensable for negotiations and in-person management. The idea was developed by a company from India, according to its creator.
Dr. IA is already available for Android, iPhone, and computers. It offers a free version for brief consultations and monthly plans starting from G. 119,000 for the general public, reaching G. 239,000 for advanced professional use.
