The Government of Paraguay has signed new air transport liberalization agreements, known as "open skies," with countries in the region. The measure, announced during the XVI Meeting of Civil Aviation Authorities of Latin America, aims to eliminate operational restrictions such as limits on frequency, routes, and aircraft capacity.
The objective is to expand international connectivity, facilitate the entry of new airlines, and foster a more competitive market. The expectation is that the increased availability of flights will boost tourism, trade, and investment, benefiting passengers and cargo transport alike.
