Paraguayan exports with a Certificate of Origin totaled $693 million in May, with the Americas as the main market ($510 million), led by Brazil ($190 million), followed by Argentina ($170 million) and Chile ($60 million).

Paraguayan exports covered by Certificates of Origin reached $693 million in May, according to data from the Single Export Window (VUE). In the fifth month of the year, more than one million tons of products were shipped to destinations across four continents.

The Americas remained the main market for Paraguayan goods, accounting for shipments worth $510 million. Brazil led the ranking of destinations with purchases of $190 million, followed by Argentina with $170 million and Chile with $60 million. The United States also stood out with imports of $25 million, and Uruguay with $19 million.

The Asian market recorded total exports of $113 million, with Taiwan in the lead at $22 million, followed by China at $19 million and Indonesia at $15 million. Europe received Paraguayan products worth $47 million, while Africa accounted for $20 million. Oceania also appeared among the destinations, with purchases of $1.3 million.

The results reinforce the sustained positioning of national production abroad and the relevance of the Certificate of Origin as a tool to facilitate access to international markets and strengthen the competitiveness of Paraguayan products.
