Peña inspects 'Semillas del Futuro' children's center works in Concepción

President Santiago Peña and Vice President Pedro Alliana inspected the works of the Semillas del Futuro Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Center in Concepción, part of the national program to decentralize social infrastructure.

President Santiago Peña, accompanied by Vice President Pedro Alliana and national, departmental, and municipal authorities, carried out a technical inspection of the works of the “Semillas del Futuro” Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Center in Concepción, during a government tour in the department.

The delegation assessed the structural improvements and coordinated pending logistical aspects for the future inauguration of the facility, which will be dedicated to the care, stimulation, and comprehensive development of children in the region during their early years.

Peña highlighted the national expansion of the Semillas del Futuro program as part of a strategy to decentralize social infrastructure. He recalled that the first centers in the network are already operating in Capiatá, Encarnación, and Villa Hayes, while new projects are advancing in other locations across the country.

“Very pleased and moved to see that the most important works are also reaching Concepción,” the head of state said, emphasizing the importance of providing institutional support to families in the north of the country from early childhood.

The future facility will have specialized areas for early stimulation, comprehensive monitoring, and focused care, within the government program that seeks to promote safe environments for children's cognitive, emotional, and social development.
