UIP and Club Mipymes bring together 15 financial institutions in Asunción to facilitate credit for micro and small businesses

The Unión Industrial del Paraguay (UIP) and Club Mipymes will hold the fourth edition of Networking Financiero 2026 on Thursday, June 18, at the UIP headquarters in Asunción, bringing together 15 financial institutions to facilitate access to credit and business strengthening tools for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

The Unión Industrial del Paraguay (UIP) and Club Mipymes will hold the fourth edition of Networking Financiero 2026 this Thursday, June 18, starting at 2 p.m. The event aims to facilitate micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises’ access to credit and business strengthening tools. The activity, free and open to the public, will take place at the UIP’s institutional headquarters in Asunción.

Fifteen financial institutions, including banks, finance companies, and cooperatives, have already confirmed their attendance. They will present their credit products and services tailored to this sector. The event’s goal is to bring the financial ecosystem closer to entrepreneurs, allowing them to explore options for working capital, infrastructure investment, and other corporate support mechanisms.

Mipymes account for about 98% of Paraguay’s business fabric and employ approximately 75% of the working population, establishing themselves as one of the main drivers of the country’s economy. Despite their importance, the sector still faces structural challenges to expansion, with limited access to affordable credit being one of the main obstacles.

In this context, Networking Financiero 2026 aims to serve as a practical platform for information, strategic contacts, and tailored solutions to strengthen businesses. The organizers encourage entrepreneurs to take advantage of the strong presence of financial entities to compare rates, terms, and requirements, ensuring the economic support necessary for the sustainable growth of their projects.
