Violent Robbery in Santa Rosa del Aguaray: Thief Takes G. 3 Million and Flees on Motorcycle

A man armed with a knife robbed about G. 3 million from a business in Santa Rosa del Aguaray, San Pedro department, on Friday morning. The victim, shopkeeper Natalia Vera Talavera, was threatened, and the suspect fled on a motorcycle without license plates. Police are investigating.

A violent robbery was recorded on Friday morning at a business in the San Ramón neighborhood of Santa Rosa del Aguaray, San Pedro department. The criminal, armed with a knife, took approximately G. 3 million in cash and fled on a blue motorcycle without license plates.

The victim, Natalia Vera Talavera, 30, a shopkeeper and manager of the Pagos Fácil establishment, told police that the location had just opened around 8 a.m. when a tall, thin man with light skin, wearing a brown hoodie, black jacket with a white stripe, and a white cap, entered and demanded the cash from the register under threat of a knife.

After the robbery, the suspect fled on a blue motorcycle without license plates; further details were not provided by the victim. Officers from the 18th Police Station of Santa Rosa del Aguaray, led by Sub-Officer Major Orlando Balmaceda, accompanied by Sub-Officer Majors Juan Mongelos and Marcelo Montanía, responded to the incident.

The case was reported to the Crime Investigation Department, under the responsibility of Sub-Officer Inspector Nelson Díaz, who has already begun investigations to identify and arrest the perpetrator.
