Scope

Pytagua is a public news and discovery site about Paraguay. This policy covers the public website at https://pytagua.com. Separate operational systems used to review, publish, monitor, or administer the site are not intended for public account access.

Data we process

• Request metadata processed by hosting, security, and CDN infrastructure, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, timestamps, and similar technical logs.
• Analytics and performance data from Cloudflare Web Analytics or Cloudflare Pages, such as page views and basic usage signals.
• Search queries only as part of the page URL or browser-side filtering. Public search is designed to run from static JSON in the browser, not from a public database query service.
• Messages and contact details you choose to send by email, including correction, rights, legal, or privacy requests.

• To publish and serve the public site.
• To protect the site against abuse, outages, spam, and security incidents.
• To understand readership at an aggregate level and improve public pages.
• To respond to requests, corrections, legal notices, and operational issues.

Cookies and analytics

Pytagua does not operate public user accounts or payment checkout on the public site. We do not intentionally use advertising trackers. Cloudflare or similar infrastructure may still process request metadata and may use limited technical cookies or signals for security, analytics, and delivery.

Sources, people, and published information

Pytagua republishes, summarizes, translates, organizes, and links to newsworthy material from cited sources. We try to avoid unnecessary personal data and sensitive details, especially where publication would not add public-interest value.

If you believe published information about you is inaccurate, excessive, outdated, or unsafe, contact us and identify the page, the specific issue, and the correction or removal you request.

Sharing and processors

We use service providers for hosting, CDN, security, email, analytics, storage, and site operations. These providers process data only as needed to provide those services or meet legal and security obligations.

Retention

Infrastructure logs and analytics are retained according to provider settings and operational needs. Emails and legal or correction requests may be retained as needed to resolve the request, maintain a record of the decision, and protect the site against repeat abuse or legal claims.
