Brazil's Federal Revenue Service seized nearly 3,500 vials of injectable medications for weight loss and other purposes, which were hidden inside the doors of a vehicle, during an operation on the BR-277 highway in São Miguel do Iguaçu, Paraná.

The shipment, valued at over 320,000 Brazilian reais, consisted mainly of 2,707 vials of tirzepatide, a weight loss drug. Another 786 vials contained peptides and anti-aging products.

The car, from a rental company, was driven by a man traveling with his wife and a minor child. They claimed to have visited family in Foz do Iguaçu and were returning to São Paulo.

Following a thorough inspection at the Federal Revenue customs office in Foz do Iguaçu, the goods were found concealed inside the car's four doors. The occupants stated they were unaware of the quantity, value, and destination of the cargo, only claiming they were merely transporting it.

The vehicle and the medications were seized. The case files will be sent to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office for the possible initiation of a criminal case. No one was arrested.
