Paraguay's Chamber of Deputies has approved a declaration granting official recognition to Aviation Lieutenant Derlis Cáceres Troche for his career in scientific research and his contributions to the development of artificial intelligence applied to education.
The officer from the Paraguayan Air Force is currently pursuing a doctorate in Education with an Industrial Mention at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he is researching the application of artificial intelligence in higher education, the digital transformation of universities, and the strengthening of digital teaching skills.
His work had already been awarded during the First Academic Forum on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence, held in Spain, by the Chair of Employability and Responsibility in Artificial Intelligence (ERIA), an initiative of the Autonomous University of Madrid, Microsoft, and Founderz.
The ceremonial presentation of the recognition plaque will take place during an official session of the National Congress, scheduled for March of next year. Cáceres Troche stated that the distinction is not just a personal achievement, but a recognition of the value of scientific research as an engine of transformation for the country.
