Camara De Diputados

The Cámara de Diputados is the Chamber of Deputies, one of the two houses of Paraguay’s Congress. Bills, budget matters, oversight motions and political procedures can begin there and may be amended, approved or rejected, but a vote in the chamber is not automatically a decision by Congress as a whole. This dossier follows Pytagua coverage of votes, committees, legislative procedures and disputes with the Senate or Executive, with attention to which procedural step actually produces a legal effect.
