Ciudad del Este municipal government announces construction of six plazas in neighborhoods across the capital of Alto Paraná

The Ciudad del Este municipal government announced the construction of six plazas in neighborhoods across the city, with participation from residents' committees in the design of the projects, which will be funded with the municipality's own resources.

The municipal government of Ciudad del Este announced the construction of six plazas in different sectors of the capital of Alto Paraná, as part of a municipal plan to recover and enhance public spaces dedicated to recreation and community integration.

Mayor Daniel Pereira Mujica officially presented the project at an event attended by local authorities, special guests, and residents of the neighborhoods that will benefit. The new plazas will be built at Plaza Adrián Jara in the Don Bosco neighborhood; Plaza San Isidro; Plaza María Auxiliadora; Plaza San Rafael; Plaza Central Santa Ana; and Plaza Central Ciudad Nueva.

According to the head of the municipal executive branch, neighborhood commissions will play an active role in the design process, working in coordination with architects and technical staff so that each project meets the community's needs. "You will provide the idea, the vision, and the technicians will design the dream you have," Pereira Mujica said during the ceremony.

The timeline calls for the preparation of architectural designs, along with the corresponding technical and budget studies, before submission to the Municipal Council, which will review and approve the initiatives before construction begins.

These six new plazas join five others already promoted by the current administration under the public space recovery program. Plaza Rodrigo Quintana, in the Pablo Rojas neighborhood, has already been inaugurated, while four other projects are in their final stages, including Plaza Virgen de Fátima and Plaza Espíritu Santo at km 9 on the Acaray road.

The mayor also announced that a new investment package will be unveiled next week, including projects for Parque Chino, the grounds of the former Alejo García Airport, and Plaza Van Aaken. In the health sector, he revealed that significant investment will be made in strengthening the network of municipal dispensaries, with the goal of expanding and improving care for the population.

Pereira Mujica emphasized that all works carried out by the municipal government are executed without taking on debt, funded with own resources.
